About
A Worcester Institution Since the 1800s
The Lamb & Flag on The Tything in Worcester has grown into a popular destination since Richard Bartram and Ron Morgan took over in 2016.
A historic pub dating back to at least 1820, with roots possibly as early as the 1700s, it has long been a cornerstone of the local community, known for its traditional alehouse atmosphere, live music and renowned Guinness.
After decades under various owners, including 45 years with the Jones family, the pub was refreshed in 2017 and continues to thrive. Rich and Ron maintain a strong range of quality ales and offer varied food styles upstairs. Following improvements in summer 2025, the upstairs now provides a relaxed space to enjoy drinks with friends.
Live music is now a weekend staple, with a wide variety of acts performing throughout the year, further cementing The Lamb & Flag’s place as a local institution.
